Ryanair to Introduce Inflight Gambling

Ryanair is set to shake things up in the airline industry with plans to introduce in-flight online gambling services.

The move comes amongst a raft of other changes to improve efficiency and lower costs, including doing away with baggage check in and having customers carry their bags directly to cargo bins.

The discount carrier has never been afraid to shake things up a bit, with a racy advertising campaign featuring a sexy young girl in a school uniform and an annual Ryanair calendar full of employees in skimpy outfits. They have take the discount carrier concept to the limit with low seat prices and charges for just about any on-flight service, including use of the rest rooms.

Michael O'Leary, CEO of the carrier sees online gambling as great way to subsidize their service and will be looking to partner with successful European based online casino operators to investigate options.
