Casino software platform Microgaming today announced it will be staging a massive slots tournament through participating casinos.
The tournament, named the ‘Grand Slam of Slots’, is scheduled to take place over a 9 day stretch from October 22 until November 2. Up for grabs will be a first prize of €1 million, that the expected 9000 finalist's will compete for.
Details of the tournament format and qualifying criteria are still filtering through but apparently a tournament scoreboard will provide a real time player ranking during the course of the tourney.
Microgaming tournament director, Mike Hebden announced in a press release that, “As a market leader, it is our aim to present new and unique offerings, and the ‘Grand Slam of Slots’ is a testament to Microgaming’s customer-centric approach.”
