EGR Award Winners for 2009

Last night at London's Old Billingsgate Market eGaming Review Magazine crowned its category winners for 2009's EGR Awards.

A capacity crowd of just on nine hundred guests turned out to the EGR awards which mark the opening of EGR Live - a 2 day industry conference and expo attended by the who's who of the online gambling world. The awards recognize the leaders in the industry in a range of categories.

In the blue ribbon category of 'Operator of the Year', Bwin took out the win and bet365 earned a special commendation.

VC Bet Asia was named Asian Live Gaming Operator of the Year, while Unibet took out the award for best European Live Gaming operator.

888.com was named Best Casino Operator of the Year.

Poker Operator of the Year went to Party Poker, and Betfair was named the UK Sports Betting Operator of the Year.
