Expekt.com have been busy lately. First signing Mats Wilander as tennis ambassador, and now Microgaming as the new software platform for their casino.
Expekt.com are one of the online gambling powerhouses, with a registered player base thought to be close to 1.5 million. Their operation is based in Malta and they run a casino, poker room, sports betting, bingo and live casino. They began their operation back in 1999 making them one of the industry mainstays.
Expekt.com CEO Per Widerstrom has said that the Microgaming product will give its players access to an increased game range and the high value progressive jackpots Microgaming are famous for.
Micrgaming meanwhile are understandably delighted with their new high profile licensee.
“It is always an exciting time when Microgaming establishes a major new license agreement as it means we can introduce our technology to new players from different markets around the world,” said Roger Raatgever, CEO for Microgaming.
The news comes amid a spate of high profile deals between Microgaming rival Playtech and big name online gambling operators including William Hill and Betfair.
