Sports betting giant Ladbrokes are going all out in 2010 with a live streaming schedule that will include no fewer than 30,000 sporting events.
Apparently the UK based sportsbook have opened up the cheque book, to the tune of over 3 million pounds over the Christmas period, securing the live web-streaming rights to a huge range of sports events.
Events covered will include senior league soccer from a dozen countries including football powerhouses Brazil, Portugal and Italy. Premier league games will also be represented, as will international games and UEFA Champions League matches. Tennis from the Australian Open and Wimbledon are other notable includes as well a raft of 'pub' favourites such as darts and snooker events.
The vision will be free to registered customers, with the exception of horse races, and is part of the company's push to promote in-play betting products.
'The new site further reflects the growing importance of betting in-play and live video streaming content,' said John O'Reilly, Ladbrokes Remote Betting And Gaming division MD.
