Texas Hold’em
online...
Look not one step
further for the Texas Hold’em online rules, they are here in a basic and clean
form for you to easily master. Texas Hold’em online is played just the same as
in real life, and is perhaps the most widely played and known version of
‘community poker’ online.
Community poker
means simply that there is a pool of common cards from which player must form a
part of their hands. In Texas Hold’em online the number of community cards is
five, from which a player must use three. The community cards are dealt in three
phases, the flop, the turn, and the river. The flop is the most important of the
three phases as three of the community cards are dealt at that time. Given that
every player is dealt two ‘pocket’ cards at the start of every hand, it is
possible (though not probable) to have a high winning hand as early as the flop.
Betting takes place
after the deal, after the flop, after the turn, and after the river. There are
also two forced bets in Texas Hold’em online, the small blind and big blind. The
player immediately to the left of the dealer places the small blind (half the
minimum bet) and the next player places the big blind (a forced minimum bet).
Since the role of dealer rotates at the start of every hand every player will be
forced at some point to place the blinds.
